If you are a frequent acid reflux or heartburn sufferer, then you know it can be painful just to eat a meal.

But, what you may not know is that it’s sometimes more than that painful burn in your chest. You could be suffering from Esophagus Rot. That’s where the acid flies up into your esophagus so frequently that it eats through the lining and begins “rotting” away the tissue.

This could lead to much more serious and threatening disorders like asthma and pneumonia as the acid moves into your lungs. If you’d like to know more about how to stop this process, naturally then read Reflux Remedy Report.

In addition, you may also suffer the following dangerous diseases because of ignoring your acid reflux problem:

Ulcers – As if the acid weren’t enough to keep you up at night, ulcers are painful sores that occur after the acid has eaten the lining of your esophagus. They can inflame just like acid reflux, but the effects are much stronger. If left untreated they can bleed and cause additional problems.

Strictures – The esophagus actually constricts stopping the flow of acid, or any food or drink for that matter, from getting where it needs to be. You may have to have your food surgically removed and the stricture repaired to boot.

Barrett’s Esophagus – Sometimes the damage is so extensive that it actually changes the cellular make-up of your esophagus. The tissue morphs to look and act more like the lining in your stomach, which is stronger and more resilient to flowing acid. The problem is that when cells alter themselves, it opens the door to cancer.

Esophageal Cancer – A life-threatening disease, albeit rare. Esophageal cancer happens when the lining just can’t take anymore. Barrett’s Esophagus cells transform; some cells go bad and become cancerous.

Now your doctor may suggest risky medications that you may be on the rest of your life – or worse, dangerous surgery to avoid the serious illness.

However, before you elect to take that prescription medication, or go under the knife, you should know all your options. Some of the best, all-natural options can be found in the Reflux Remedy Report: Fast, Safe & Natural Home Remedy Information.

You don’t have to suffer ever again, because Barton Publishing has put together a whole report on curing your acid reflux finally.

Without any drugs – Without any side-effects – Without any surgery – WITH natural cures and remedies found in your frig, pantry or at most, your local grocery store

In it you’ll discover:

What kind of foods you should eat for 2 days that will soothe and promote the natural healing of your esophagus (page 6).

How to put a stop to your acid reflux instantly with a power-combo cure that could last days between doses (page 9).

Which apple beat out all others in putting acid to bed all night long. Usually, one slice was enough (page 11).

While you keep the acid level down, start healing any damage that’s already been done – with these rather unusual yet simple mixtures (page 21).

A very “weird” but effective – and very natural – remedy for hiatal hernia (page 22).

There’s even a section where customers have written in to share their experiences and what worked for them. You’ll get the added bonus of seeing winning techniques from folks in the field just like you.

You should check out Reflux Remedy Report: Fast, Safe & Natural Home Remedy Information.

Common symptoms of panic attacks

Heart Attack
Many people think their panic symptoms are really a heart attack. There are differences between the two in symptoms as well as diagnosis. Panic attacks can happen at any time, very often during rest, and include the feeling of impending doom, terror, and loss of control whereas heart attacks may be more related to exertion and exercise. Any chest pain or discomfort may diminish as you slow down your physical effort. A heart attack leaves a physical footprint on EKGs and panic attacks don’t, other than perhaps a fast heart rate.A panic attack may cause an increased heart rate, but not to a dangerous level. In fact, the rate during the episode is actually less than with vigorous physical exercise.

Loss of Control
Many sufferers feel they will lose control when they panic. They fear their body will do things of it’s own volition and their mind will not have any control over it. They picture themselves getting up and running around the room saying crazy stuff while people stare at them. Having thoughts like that lead to feelings of panic! Rest assured there is no loss of control. You may exercise the “flight” part of fight or flight and leave the situation, but you will not fall over paralyzed or become wild.

Going Crazy
During a panic attack the sufferer has irrational feelings and physical responses and it’s those irrational feelings and thoughts that make them feel like maybe they’re “going crazy.” The differences are someone who is “crazy” or schizophrenic has delusions (they’re King of the United States) or hallucinations (hearing voices) while the individual who is having an attack is having momentary feelings of irrational fear. Additionally, a panic attack does not cause schizophrenia unless they were on their way there already with that issue and have strong family genetics that predispose them.

Fainting
It is not hard to see why fear of fainting may be foremost in the mind of a panic sufferer, but rarely does that actually happen. This fear comes about because of the similar symptoms someone would feel right before fainting – dizziness and lightheadedness. But really, what the body is feeling during an attack; that increased fight or flight adrenaline rush, is the opposite of fainting. The response is aptly called fight or flight, not fight, flight, or faint.

Other symptoms that people fear could happen when they have a panic attack is that it could be a result of, or cause of, epilepsy or an aneurysm. These have not been proven true and should provide some peace of mind. In fact, dispelling all the above mistaken beliefs should help the panic attack sufferer feel a lot better.

Do you fear a panic attack could strike at any moment? Click here to learn more about Panic Away

I’m sure you’ve heard of the long-standing joke, stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Unfortunately, it’s no joke when stress throws you off your diet. You’ve been diligent and worked hard to stick with you diet. Then wham, out of nowhere life throws you a sucker punch and you feel all stressed out. What is the first thing you do to combat that? You guessed it, eat your favorite comfort food and lots of it. It can be very discouraging when that happens.

However, the good news is you can bounce back before stress causes any permanent damage to your healthy diet.

There are some natural alternatives to traditional medicines to combat stress. One way is to plan time for meditation each day. We all have busy lives with our work and raising a family.

The more we’re on the go, the more run down our body will become. When you’re rundown and tired both physically and mentally, it will make facing stress that much harder to overcome. A daily dose of meditation, even if it’s only for 10 minutes, can do wonders for your body and mind.

Having a regular exercise routine that includes a mind-body mix, such as yoga, will also help you handle stress better. It helps you clear your mind and gives you a little energy, making you feel better about yourself. When your confidence is up, you’re better equipped to battle the stress whenever it pops up.

If it’s possible for where you live, plant a garden. Horticulture can be a rewarding way to build confidence within yourself by the “fruits” of your labor. You can enjoy the results of your efforts as the fruits, vegetables, and herbs grow to maturity.

Even small planter gardens can help. Grow your own herbs and spice up your healthy dishes with what you grew. When gardening isn’t an option, just try doing another hobby that can provide stress-busting benefits.

Sometimes food seems to be the only option in your eyes. If you can’t resist food, then go for the healthier snacks. You can handle your stress and you won’t add more stress to the mix by feeling guilty about eating the wrong types of food.

Stress is inevitable for us, but it doesn’t have to control you to the point where your diet suffers. If you take time for yourself, give your body and mind a chance to thrive, it will help you face your stress and eradicate it from your life the second it shows up.

Tai chi chuan or Tai Chi as it is called in the West is an internal Chinese martial art often practiced for better and emotional well-being. The literal translation is “Supreme Ultimate Fist” and is considered a soft style martial art — an art applied with internal power — to distinguish its theory and application from that of the hard martial art styles.

Tai Chi utilizes slow, consistent and flowing movements to stretch and strengthen various muscles of the body. Medical studies support its effectiveness as an alternative exercise and a form of martial arts therapy to promote an overall sense of well-being.

The practice of tai chi chuan primarily involves three aspects:

Health: Tai Chi concentrates on relieving the physical effects of stress on the body and mind

Meditation: The meditative aspect of Tai Chi is seen as necessary in maintaining optimum emotional well-being

Martial art: The ability to use Tai Chi as a form of self-defense in combat is the test of a student’s understanding of the art

By performing special exercises within a Tai Chi program, you can tighten up loose muscles and alternatively, loosen up tight muscles. Those muscles are then strengthened to allow for more endurance, which helps prevent injuries.

If you suffer from some pain in the joint areas, you can use Tai Chi to increase your range of motion within those joints, diminishing some of the pain. The muscles become more flexible and can endure more activity.

If balance becomes a problem for you, use the Tai Chi exercises that are designed to train your body to work from its center to provide stability for your body at all times. It strengthens your core more each time you practice it.

Balance within your mind can also be achieved by Tai Chi. It teaches you to focus your energies – not on the stress – but on relaxation and inner peace, which slowly builds a sense of calm and diminishes any anxiety you may have felt previously.

Many Tai Chi participants report that they’re able to get out of their mental fog, which may be a result of the oxygen flow that this exercise promotes. Aside from the mental benefits, it also helps your organs function optimally.

Certain diseases or medical conditions can be greatly improved with Tai Chi. For instance, high blood pressure can be stabilized or brought down to normal levels.

It’s also beneficial in giving your immune system a much-needed boost. Tai Chi is more a way of life than an exercise. Traditional exercises are for building muscles, increasing blood flow and burning calories.

Tai Chi does that, too, but it also does so much more. It works – not just the physical aspects of your body – but the mental ones as well. It benefits the whole package instead of just focusing on one area of improvement.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded a grant to build a website titled “The Tai Chi & Consumer Health Information Center” and was launched in 2004. It provides scientific, reliable and comprehensive information about various health benefits of Tai Chi – for arthritis, diabetes, fall prevention, pain reduction, mental health, cardiovascular diseases, fitness and general well-being.

What you don’t know about high blood pressure can kill you. Most people know that high blood pressure is bad for your heart health but did you know it can also wreak havoc on your brain, kidneys, and eyes?

Here’s the real scary part…high blood pressure can quietly damage these vital organs for years before you see any symptoms. If left unchecked, this silent killer can leave you with a permanent disability. Or worse, it can lead to a heart attack or stroke.

Your heart, brain, eyes, and kidneys all depend on blood flow for life-giving nutrients and oxygen. When you have high blood pressure, the lining of your arteries can be damaged and obstruct the smooth flow of blood.

The increased pressure can harden the walls of the arteries and can lead to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), heart disease, and stroke. The constant pressure can also cause a section of the arterial wall to enlarge, causing an aneurysm in the aorta or brain.

Your kidneys and eyes can also suffer from unchecked high blood pressure. It is the most common cause of kidney failure. And in the eyes, this arterial damage can cause serious vision problems due to fluid buildup or nerve damage.

Unfortunately, traditional treatment solutions with medicines like beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, calcium-channel blockers, and diuretics are known to have harmful side effects such as:

Constant fatigue

Weakness

Shortness of breath

Depression

Impotence

Chronic dry, hacking cough

Swollen ankles

Kidney damage

Fortunately, there are natural remedies or alternatives to treat or lower your high blood pressure. You can do it naturally, with inexpensive foods and supplements.

Before you do anything, you must get a baseline measurement of your current blood pressure. You can walk into your neighborhood grocery store or pharmacy and measure your blood pressure there.

Use the chart below to see where you are at right now. Are you within the normal range or at the pre-hypertension stage? You should consult your doctor as soon as possible if you are in Stage Two Hypertension.

Blood Pressure Stages

Systolic

Diastolic

Normal

< 120

< 80

Pre-Hypertension

120-139

80-90

Stage One Hypertension

140-159

90-99

Stage Two Hypertension

160+

100+

Next, you may want to try one of these four natural remedies to reduce or even prevent high blood pressure:

1. Garlic – This tasty herb contains sulfides that help relax your arteries. This lets blood flow more freely. In fact, a study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that garlic can relax blood vessel tension by an amazing 72 percent. (Benavides G, et al. “From the Cover: Hydrogen sulfide mediates the vasoactivity of garlic,“ PNAS 2007 104: 17977-17982.)

For maximum benefit, eat one to two cloves of fresh garlic per day. If you’d rather use a supplement, choose one that provides at least 3,600 mcg of allicin – garlic’s active compound.

2. Quercetin – This powerful antioxidant is a “bioflavonoid” that’s found in foods like apples, onions, red grapes, and leafy greens. In one study, researchers gave 22 people with high blood pressure, quercetin for four weeks. At the end of the study, they showed significant improvement. ( Edwards et al, “Quercetin reduces blood pressure in hypertensive subjects,” Journal of Nutrition, 2007, 137(11):2405-11.)

The easiest way to get more quercetin is to eat more fruits and leafy green veggies. Otherwise, you can get a supplement at your local health-food store. Recommend dosage is 300 to 750 mg per day.

3. Coenzyme Q10 or Co Q10 – Also known as Ubiquinone or Vitamin Q, CoQ10 is a naturally-occurring compound found in every cell in the body. In a study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, researchers gave CoQ10 to diabetic patients. Not only did their blood sugar improve, so did their blood pressure. (Hodgson et al, “Coenzyme Q10 improves blood pressure and glycaemic control in a controlled trial in subjects with type 2 diabetes,” European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2002, 56(11):1137-42.)

This powerful and amazing antioxidant works by supplying your heart with the critical energy it needs to pump blood throughout your body. It is suggested that you take 50 to 100 mg of the potent form of CoQ10 known as ubiquinol.

4. Hawthorn – This herb has been used for centuries as a heart tonic. Just like garlic, it works to relax the blood vessels. It does this by inhibiting Angiotensin, a protein that causes blood vessels to constrict and drive up blood pressure.

Prescription drugs like Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors work the same way – with far more long-term side effects. In one clinical trial, hawthorn effectively reduced diastolic blood pressure. (Walker A., et al., Promising hypotensive effect of hawthorn extract: a randomized double-blind pilot study of mild, essential hypertension. Phytother Res 2002 Feb; 16(1): 48-54.) It is recommended you take 1,000 mg of hawthorn extract daily.

The good folks at Barton Publishing have put together a special report that covers these and many other natural high blood pressure remedies.

It’s called “The High Blood Pressure Remedy Report: How to Cure Your High Blood Pressure Naturally Without Drugs.”

It is a comprehensive report on how to naturally:

Prevent and reduce high blood pressure

Protect your heart, kidneys, eyes, and brain

Wean yourself off costly and harmful drugs like beta blockers

Reduce your risk of heart attack or stroke

If you’re at all concerned about your heart health and overall health, I highly recommend you check it out.

Are you familiar with the fruit Amalaki? It is a lemon-sized, greenish-yellow fruit from a tree that grows throughout Asia. Amalaki (Phyllanthus emblica, syn. Emblica officinalis) is also known as the Indian gooseberry.

For many years, natural health enthusiasts and practitioners of Ayurveda have believed in the strong medicinal powers of the Amalaki fruit. This fruit, also called amla, is considered one of the best rejuvenating herbs in Ayurveda. It is also used as one of the three main ingredients in a popular ayurvedic preparation known as triphala.

Medicinal use of Amalaki:

Amalaki is said to have strong anti-oxidant properties and provides 20 times the amount of vitamin C as orange juice. It has anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-viral benefits that contribute to your overall health. It provides anti-fungal and anti-microbial attributes when used topically.

A human pilot study demonstrated reduction of blood cholesterol levels in both normal and hypercholesterolemic (high cholesterol) men.

Another very recent study with alloxan-induced diabetic rats given an aqueous amla fruit extract has shown significant decrease in blood glucose as well as triglyceridemic levels and an improvement of liver function caused by a normalization of the liver-specific enzyme alanine transaminase (ALT) activity.

Cancer studies in mice have shown that the Amalaki fruit reduces the effects that cancer cells have on ravishing the body and when used prior to radiation, offers a protective shield to damaging the chromosomes.

Even the digestive system appears to receive positive benefits from the consumption of the Amalaki fruit or its extracts. One study found that the extract reduced inflammation and irritation normally found with digestive diseases.

Like many other potent antioxidants, the Amalaki fruit contributes to a boost in your immune system. Life spans in mice subject to tumors increased by up to 25% with the consumption of this extract.

No warnings have been given about the Amalaki fruit to date. It’s been used freely in India for centuries as a medicinal food known for its immense health benefits. Other conditions for which it’s used include constipation, colic, asthma, anemia, gout, and even mental disorders.

Culinary use of Amalaki:

In South India, the fruit is pickled with salt, oil, and spices. Amla is eaten raw or cooked into various dishes. In Andhra Pradesh tender varieties of amla are used to prepare dal (a lentil preparation) and amle ka murabbah, a dessert indigenous to the northern part of India. The berries are soaked in sugar syrup for a long time until they acquire a sweet flavor.

Other uses of Amalaki

Amla shampoos and hair oil are traditionally believed to nourish the hair and scalp and prevent premature graying of hair.

Today, you can get the benefits of Amalaki in power or tablet form. From the powder, you can make a tea to drink on a regularly to get the most health benefits from your daily consumption.

Magnets are considered to have mystical powers and have been used since ancient times to alleviate different types of pain. Does magnetic therapy really work? Even though there’s little scientific proof for the benefits of magnetic therapy, proponents claim to receive positive results when exposing their bodies to magnetic fields.

Alternative health professionals generally agree that magnets do work by blocking pain in the body. Some practitioners use magnets for treatment of blood disorders such as circulation, decreasing toxic materials and increasing blood oxygen.

Some studies suggest that most pain sufferers can be helped by magnetic therapy. Also, magnets are safe and have no risk of side effects. Magnets can boost the flow of blood to painful areas on the body by calming the capillary wall and can also prevent painful muscle spasms by preventing the “pain message” from being transmitted to the brain.

Medical magnets are said to be effective for the following illnesses:

Chronic Back Pain – Magnet strips taped to the back or using a magnetic back brace can alleviate back pain

Headaches – Magnetic headbands are available to help rid of headaches

Neuropathy from Diabetes – When neuropathy from diabetes occurs, magnetic foot pads are sometimes used to relieve numbness and pain in the feet.

Fibromyalgia – This debilitating disease can be helped by sleeping on a magnetic mattress

Magnetic therapy products are available for use in belts, jewelry, shoes and mattress pads. These static magnets are believed to help bones repair themselves after fractures. Magnets used for medical purposes can cost from about $5 to over $100 and come in a wide range of shapes, sizes and strengths.

The search for magnetic products to relieve pain has come to the forefront of medical research in the past few years. Because of the positive results of recent studies using magnets to control pain, more research is being planned for the future.

A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed, raw plant foods that have not been heated above 46 °C (115 °F). Followers of this type of diet believe that foods cooked above this temperature lose much of their nutritional value and are less healthy. Some “Raw foodists” go as far as saying foods heated above that temperature may be harmful to the body.

Many foods that could be sold raw, such as milk and almonds, are pasteurized to reduce the risk of Microbial Disease. It sounds crazy to pasteurize almonds whereas fruits, which are much more likely to carry bacteria if not thoroughly washed, are sold raw in grocery stores.

Many raw vegan recipes include foods such as agave nectar, which are processed food products, and it is hard to know exactly what temperatures have been used in the preparation.

A large selection of raw food recipes is now available on the Internet because of the rising popularity of this diet. However, many online recipes may claim to be raw but include ingredients such as Braggs or soy sauce, which are not raw foods. Therefore, a certain amount of caution is required when looking at recipes on the Internet. One of the best sources I have found is living-foods.com.

You can also buy raw vegan cookbooks at your local bookstore or online. These books often focus on either gourmet raw foods or recipes high in superfoods, which are usually more expensive to prepare, and are not everybody’s idea of the simple raw diet. This typically includes fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains and legumes.

2 essential raw food kitchen gadgets

Although some commercially dried foods may be dried at temperatures below 115 degrees, many raw food eaters prefer to dry their own. This is best done with a dehydrator that includes a thermostat to control the temperature.

Food is dried on trays that sit inside the dehydrator. Most dehydrators have between 5 and 9 trays. Raw food enthusiasts agree that the best dehydrator for drying living foods is the Excalibur, which is available online.

Having a dehydrator allows you to make raw ‘breads’ such as onion bread which is made from chopped onion, flax seeds and any other ingredients that you choose. Some people like to add finely chopped leeks and carrots.

Another essential piece of equipment for your raw kitchen is a high-speed blender. With this you can make everything from green smoothies to nut pates. Vita-Mix is the most preferred brand. While not the cheapest, Vita-Mix blenders are strong and long lasting. Anything else is a pale imitation.

You will also want a food processor for chopping and grating your vegetables. You may use a juicer, although many people prefer to put whole fruit in the blender with a little water instead of juicing, so that the fiber is not lost.
Cheap juicers especially are very wasteful of fruit and vegetables, so you may be better off skipping the juicer purchase and investing in a better blender to enjoy your raw vegan recipes to the max.

Bikram Choudhary’s Hot Yoga has gained popularity since its introduction in 1970 and along the way has generated some controversy too. His unique blend of traditional yoga techniques with heat is claimed to be good for detoxifying the body while deriving the health and emotional benefits of yoga. Think of Bikram hot yoga as practicing yoga inside a sauna.

A typical Bikram’s hot yoga beginner’s class runs approximately 90 minutes, incorporates a series of 26 yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a studio heated to 105°F (40.5°C) with a humidity of 40%. This unique element in Bikram hot yoga resembles temperatures in many parts of India where traditional yoga originated many years ago.

Unfortunately, many first-timers are unprepared for the intense heat and they often quit the classes. However, just like a sauna, the heat and humidity are beneficial for reducing muscle stiffness, increasing physical relaxation and flexibility. People who stay through the first few sessions often come to appreciate this aspect of the class and become passionate followers of hot yoga.

Many of the Bikram hot yoga’s 26 postures, which are based on traditional Indian yoga poses, are also used in other forms of yoga. However, Bikram yoga is unusual in that it only uses these poses in one sequence. The breathing techniques are also very important in Bikram style of hot yoga. The hot and energetic yoga sessions end with relaxation exercises.

As with most forms of yoga, it is important not to be competitive with others or expect quick results, but work at the yoga practice for its own sake. Students must take care not to over stretch or injure themselves. Progress will be steady but slow. The overall benefits of yoga are felt in all aspects of one’s life and are often rekindled when resuming the practice after a long gap.

Bikram Choudhury has sparked controversy in the United States and in India by claiming copyright on the sequence of yoga poses that he uses. In the US, Choudhury has claimed and been aggressive in enforcing broad copyrights in most aspects of the practice, teaching, and business of the system.

Traditional practitioners of yoga have opposed him by arguing that traditional poses, which have been used by yoga teachers in India for centuries, cannot be copyrighted. While these claims are not definitively resolved (i.e., by any judicial ruling on the merits), Choudury has extracted legal settlements from a number of yoga teachers and studios. Anyone wishing to teach Bikram hot yoga or use his sequence of poses must obtain a license to do so.

Of course, this does not prevent other yoga instructors from teaching the same basic yoga poses in different sequences, but they may not call themselves Bikram hot yoga teachers.

As well as the requirement for the instructor to obtain a license, there are limitations on the popularity of Bikram hot yoga caused by the high temperatures required. This is because not only are people uncomfortable in the heat and humidity but also most commercial buildings do not allow rooms to be heated that that high. This requires a special yoga studio to be built. Due to these factors, there are not that many Bikram hot yoga classes and studios in the US as there are for other styles of yoga.

There are many different types of yoga mats available in the market. You can find yoga mats in different sizes, colors and materials, both natural and synthetic. How do you choose one that’s best for you?

Finding the right size of yoga mat

Yoga mats come in various sizes but you will want to be sure that it is longer than your height so that you can lie stretched out with both your head and heels on the mat. For most women a 6 ft mat will be long enough but some men will need an extra long size.

The width depends on the poses that you will do and how you use the mat. Usually if the mat is 1.5 times the width of your shoulders, that is fine. Keep in mind that a wider mat will make a longer roll and may be more awkward to carry.

If your yoga style includes a lot of sitting and lying relaxation and breathing exercises, you may want a thicker mat for comfort.

Which is better – natural or synthetic yoga mat?

Yoga mats made out of natural materials are usually made of cotton or rubber. Cotton yoga mats are good if you are in a power yoga class such as ashtanga yoga (or astanga yoga) where you will move quickly from one pose to another.

You may be more comfortable on natural fibers if you are sweating. Check that the mat has a non-slip surface on the underside if you will be placing it directly on a hard floor.

You may also see some rubber yoga mats. Rubber is of course a natural material. These will grip well on the floor but can become slippery if your feet and hands are perspiring.

The most popular form of yoga mat today is the “sticky yoga mat” which is made from synthetic materials. These are designed so that the mat will not slip on the floor while also providing good grip and cushioning for your feet and hands. Sticky yoga mats give good security for balances and stretch poses. They are also lightweight and easy to roll and carry.

Finding the right color mat

The color may not seem important but it is! Your yoga mat should be a color that you like, that helps you feel calm and relaxed when you are practicing. Avoid very bright colors. Blue or green mats are best for most people. If you always practice in the same room, it is good if the color of your mat harmonizes with the room. Any clash of colors will affect your mood.

Some yoga mats have a grid pattern printed onto them. This can help you check that your feet and hands are correctly positioned in the yoga poses.

How to care for your yoga mat

A yoga mat should be easy to clean and care for. Remember that your mat is used on the floor and often in public spaces, so for hygiene you should wash it regularly. Some mats are machine washable, but keep it at low temperatures and do not spin or tumble dry. Others you can simply wipe down with a mild antiseptic household cleaning product. After cleaning the mat, leave it out to dry thoroughly. Never roll or store yoga mats when they are wet.
